Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Eva Mendes was discovered by a talent agency that recognized her talent. They convinced her she was destined to pursue a career within the entertainment field. She decided to withdraw of school was the consequence of a lot of reflection. She made her debut with the feature film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and found herself disappointed by her performance. It took her a long period of time to refine her acting and she starred in several low-budget productions an effort to show her talents. She persevered and her will power paid off.
